Conifer draws road trip to Delta in 4A state tourney
The Conifer Lady Lobos, who lost eight of their first nine games of the season, battled back to secure one of the final four seeds in this year’s 4A state tournament.
Conifer (9-13) will travel to fifth-seeded Delta on Feb. 22 for a first-round game against the 18-4 Lady Panthers.
Conifer earned the 12th seed in the Tracy Hill Region when the 48-team bracket was released by CHSAA on Feb. 19. It was one of eight teams from the 4A Jeffco League to make the field.
