Joseph Phifield

Joseph Phifield of Shawnee passed June 18, 2012. He was born on Nov. 22, 1976, at St. Barnabus Hospital in Patterson, N.J.
Joseph was the middle child of Catherine and Irving Phifield. Joe resided in Washington, N.J., and attended Warren County Vocational Technical high school located in Broadway, where he studied automotive trades.
He excelled during his high school years and went on to represent the state of Jew Jersey in an NCAA competition where he won a gold medal. Joe spent 12-plus years with the Boy Scouts, and as an adult he always loved hunting and fishing. Joe moved to Florida in 1997 to marry and start a family. He discovered the communication industry and worked most of his adult life as a technician for companies such as Embarq, Sprint and Century Link. Joe was an amazing man, and he will be missed tremendously.
