DENVER — Gary Rhoads has to be a proud father and not just because his son, Gary, as a freshman qualified for the 3A state wrestling tournament Feb. 16-18 at the Pepsi Center.
No, it’s because he had three more Platte Canyon wrestlers with him. That says volumes for where the program was just five years ago. The Huskies didn’t even have a wrestling team then for one year, but my how times have changed.
