Alexandria Marie Simmons, 22, of Morrison passed away Oct. 6, 2011, at Parker Adventist Hospital.

Alexa is survived by her parents, Scott and Angela, and her sister, Elizabeth, as well as her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Born in St. Louis, Mo., Alexa suffered from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and associated complications. Despite all that EDS threw at her, she became a friend and confidant to hundreds of people afflicted with EDS and other diseases around the globe. She will continue to live on in all of us for the rest of our lives. We love you and miss you, sweet Lexa Lou!
Memorial services were held on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park.
